Frequently Asked Questions
Sessions
-
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit — sometimes it’s simply about creating space to think, breathe, and grow.
-
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult lately, what you hope to get out of our work together, and any questions or concerns you might have about the process.
You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “perfect” way to explain what’s going on — this time is simply for you. My goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard as we start building a foundation of trust and understanding. From there, we’ll begin mapping out what support might look like for you moving forward. -
Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes.
We’ll start by meeting weekly to build a strong foundation and rapport. Once that’s established, we can reassess the frequency together and adjust as needed.
-
At this time, all sessions are held virtually via secure Telehealth, so you can attend from the comfort of your own space.
While there aren’t current plans for in-person sessions, it’s something I may offer in the future. If that’s something you’d be interested in, you’re welcome to reach out and let me know. I’ll be happy to reach out with updates if and when it becomes available.
-
Getting started is simple! You can first book a free 15-minute video consultation, which gives us a chance to briefly connect, talk about what your goals, and see whether working together feels like a good fit. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions to get to know me better.
Before our first session together, you’ll receive intake forms and instructions to complete before our first meeting. Sessions are conducted via secure Telehealth, so you can attend from the comfort of your own space.
If you have more questions, you’re more than welcome to reach out through the contact form! ☺

I understand that therapy is a meaningful investment, and affordability can sometimes be a concern. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who may be experiencing financial hardship.
